Taree Floods 2025 - The Rotary Club of Taree On Manning

As communities across New South Wales confront one of the most severe flood crises in recent history, we are reminded of the urgent need for compassion and collective action.

In just 48 hours, some regions have been drenched with rainfall equivalent to four months’ worth, unleashing flash floods that have submerged homes, severed access to entire towns, and, heartbreakingly, taken lives.

The full extent of the disaster continues to unfold, and the demand for coordinated support is growing by the hour.

I am the President of the Rotary Club of Wahroonga Inc, and I have been in direct contact with the President of The Rotary Club of Taree On Manning - President Richard Johnson.
