On Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 in the evening, Cara and Matthew Rospierski’s, home caught on fire.  Luckily, Cara, Matt, and their sons, Tyler (7), Zachary (6), and Jaxson (2) made it out without getting hurt. They were able to get their family dogs Barkley, Shadow, and Maui out.


They cannot stay in their home currently per the fire chief’s orders. They will find out more information on how long/what will happen later this week after the inspector comes out.  The family is currently staying in an extended stay hotel in Utica, Michigan.  But they currently have almost nothing. Poor Cara ran out with no shoes on and carried Jaxson out in just a shirt and pull up on as they were in such a rush to get out of the house safely. Unfortunately, the only things they currently have are the clothes they had on at the time of the fire and the kids tablets.  They will need to purchase everything from daily items like clothes, pull-ups, and food to eventually new toys for the kids as they currently have none.

Cara and Matt currently have a lot on their plates. And I’m hoping we can work together and help alleviate some of the stress they will face as they through this horrible experience.  Please consider donating to my sister, brother in law, and amazing nephews. They are good hard working, nice people, who would help anyone out. Let’s work together and help them through this horrible time.
