Hello, I am Erin and I had the honour of being Rosie's sister.

Rosie was the funniest, kindest and most generous person I knew. She was always so dedicated to raising money for various charities through different fundraisers. Her last big fundraiser was when in remission in February 2022, she organised a Swish clothing event which was great fun and a huge success. Even after everything Rosie had been through what she wanted to do was raise money to help others. This event raised £1,026.00 for Lymphoma Action. Which just added to the total of money Rosie had raised over the years.

Rosie heartbreakingly passed away on Sunday 19th November 2023.

It only felt right to carry on Rosie's legacy by continuing with raising funds to help others as Rosie would 100% still be doing if she were here with us.

When Rosie was having treatment she like so many sadly lost her hair which I know had such an impact on how she felt.

She did a lot of research and found an amazing wig shop in Liverpool which she visited with our Mum & Dad.

The wig made Rosie feel so much more confident and to quote Rosie “I am not exaggerating when I say I feel like myself again when I look in the mirror"

Our aim is to raise funds to help young cancer patients gain access to amazing wigs just like Rosie. I know she would want everyone going through cancer treatment to have the opportunity to feel confident again and more like themselves during the most difficult time but of course they can be expensive. We feel everyone deserves the chance to feel more like themselves again just like Rosie did.

In order to do this we would love to set up The Rosebud Fund. After a lot of research on how best to set up The Rosebud Fund we know we would need to raise an initial £5000 to start up the fund.

We are going to do our best to raise the £5000 through various fundraisers, if you would like to do a fundraiser yourself then please do let me know and we can help make that happen and lastly if you would like to donate then of course we would be incredibly grateful for your support and contribution to start The Rosebud Fund.
