I met Brian at an art show in Palm Springs in 2016. Since then, I have always been fascinated by his incredible vision and sensibility in being a very talented artist. He is now one of my closest friends and his wife, Gaye has been diagnosed with MS, a condition affecting the brain and the spinal cord, causing a wide range of symptoms.
As of now, Gaye is constantly under treatment, where medications are extremely expensive and miles away from their home and requires them to always commit to very long journeys, even when her condition does not allow her to travel. Gaye has to go through MRIs every six months, a six hour chemical infusion every six months. The disease also forces her to attend the emergency room on occasion for secondary infections and her teeth are breaking down. This year alone she has had root infections and extractions and the only dentist able to help is 3 hours away.
All the medical bills are now forcing them to remarkable financial sacrifices. Not only that, they were forced to buy a different car due to Gaye losing ability in her left leg. On top of that about three months ago someone crashed into this brand new car as it was parked on the street where Gaye continues to work in her shop where she offers unconditional support to every human being. But the car was totalled forcing them to buy another car. Two vehicle in one year.
That is why they need our help:
Brian and Gaye are the most caring people I have ever crossed path with. Their sensitivity and hope have been contagious and a real help in times where support and guidance were needed. They cannot do this alone so please help us raise money to ease their finances. Battling MS is very expensive but essential and we cannot leave them alone in this journey.
