Hallo! Wij zijn Tristan Heyvaert en Stef Maes, twee laatstejaarsstudenten aan de filmschool Narafi in Brussel. We werken samen aan onze bachelorfilm, een kortfilm getiteld "The Rock at Eternity's Lake", De film is een melodrama over liefde, verlies en de complexiteit van relaties. Om deze film op een zo hoog mogelijk niveau te kunnen realiseren, hebben we jouw hulp nodig!

Waar gaat de film over?

"The Rock at Eternity's Lake" volgt het verhaal van Alex en Charlie, een jong koppel dat hun relatie beëindigt tijdens de laatste dag van hun vakantie aan een afgelegen meer—de plek waar ze elkaar jaren geleden voor het eerst hebben ontmoet. Op wat hun driejarig jubileum had moeten zijn, organiseert Alex een nostalgische zoektocht langs plaatsen die belangrijk waren in hun relatie. Wat begint als een speelse trip door hun herinneringen, confronteert hen langzaam met alles wat veranderd is.

Met deze film willen we een oprechte blik werpen op de complexiteit van relaties, de pijn van loslaten en het gewicht van gedeelde herinneringen. De idyllische maar melancholische setting van het meer fungeert als een stille getuige van hun verleden en hun onzekere toekomst.

On what should have been their three-year anniversary, Alex organizes a nostalgic journey through the places that once meant so much to them. What starts as a playful trip down memory lane slowly forces them to confront everything that has changed.

With this film, we want to offer a heartfelt perspective on the complexity of relationships, the pain of letting go, and the weight of shared memories. The idyllic yet melancholic setting of the lake acts as a silent witness to their past and their uncertain future.
