My name is Rebecca Sasser, and I am Ashlee's sister. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Ashlee and her children with her knowledge and permission.

On June 15, 2026, our family suffered an unimaginable loss when Major Robert Dee was killed in the B-52 crash at Edwards Air Force Base.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, friend, and proud Air Force test pilot. He dedicated his life to serving his country and to the people he loved most.

He leaves behind his wife, Ashlee, and their three children, Beverlee, Eleanor, and Corbin, who now face the heartbreaking reality of moving forward without him. As our family begins to navigate the days, weeks, and months ahead, many friends, family members, and members of the community have reached out asking how they can help.

This fundraiser has been created to support the Dee family during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will help provide stability and support as Ashlee and the children adjust to life after this sudden and tragic loss.

While no amount of money can ever replace Robert, we hope this fund can ease some of the burdens ahead and allow the family the time and space they need to grieve, heal, and be together.
