The Robbie Muir Memorial Bench
Donation protected
In early December 2020, Robbie Muir, a front line Emergency Medical Technician who worked for the NHS, was admitted to hospital after being taken ill with Covid-19. On the 16th December, less than two weeks later, Robbie died.
Robbie was a inspirational, larger than life character affectionately known as 'Monkey' in the service and 'Bounce' to many of his friends. Robbie, a keen DJ and fervent supporter of live music always had a smile on his face and made time for everyone. He is sorely missed by all that knew him.
One of his favourite venues was 'Chinnerys' and the purpose of this fund-raiser is to raise money for a bench that can be located in his beloved Southend, hopefully near his favourite live music venue, so that those that knew and loved Robbie can sit and think of the big man, whilst listening to some of his favourite bands.
