The Rob and Chris Memorial Fund

In Loving Memory of Robert Barnes and Chris Markley.
This fund is being established to help the families and friends make plans for Rob and Chris's Memorial. The plan is to do a joint celebration of their lives on August 25th, Time and venue TBD.
Another emotional and financial task will be to preserve Rob's extensive collection of Art, models and memorabilia. I know that many of you understand the magnitude of which I speak.
The plan is to painstakingly catalog, organize and move his life's joy and passion into storage temporarily. We need to find a space large enough to handle these items with care. Funds will be used for the packing, moving and storage costs related to this task.
We all loved Rob so much, and we loved the way he giggled and imbued each item with his talent, joy and sense of imagination. We would love to gather as much information as possible about his work. If you would like to share your stories about specific pieces, and/or their creation, please do.
Having this collection scatter to the wind, or be sold at auction just seems like another tragedy.
Preservation of his legacy, and hopefully at some point, the sharing of these works in the form of an exhibit seems right.
There will be many challenges in dealing with his estate. Wendy, Rob's Mom and Dad, agree that we need to secure and store his many wonderful things as best we can for now. We will probably end up having experts come in to accurately value them.
