Update:

Rachel, Skyler's Mom here - On August 5th we learned that Skyler has T-Cell Leukemia, this was a complete shock to our family, especially Sky. To say it's been an emotional rollercoaster is an understatement. We have felt so much love, light and support already, it's almost too much to absorb.

We were immediately admitted to UCSF Children's Oncology Unit for the start of the first round of Chemo, thirty days they said. Thankfully Skyler responded well to the initial Chemo and meds, we were sent home early and have been settled in ever since. She is continuing out-patient Chemo for the next couple weeks, then she gets a little break before the next phase of treatment.
