Our little boy Devine is an amazing and smart little guy, he has been through so much in his 2.5 years.
He was diagnosed with a serious heart condition in utero; HLHS. Then at 5 days old he had his first open heart surgery, then another at 5 months old. He has been in heart failure for over a year now, and on the best of heart failure medications. His function hasn’t gotten any better, so he will have to get a heart transplant. It will be 6-12 months.He has been listed for transplant!( May31, 2023)
Unfortunately his team, decided in order to maintain his good health and other organ function. They had to place a BVAD, a mechanical pump on the outside. Today June 5, 2023 he had his 3rd open heart surgery and is now in icu recovering. He did good through the surgery.
We are asking anyone who would like to help out Devine and our family to donate. We will need housing and food while down in Boston. Every little bit helps.
