CMDC100 -- SAVE OUR SPACE!!!
WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!!!!!!! Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center, like many arts organizations, is still working to recover from the financial impacts of the COVID-19 shutdowns.
We are currently facing a hard deadline of June 1st to come up with $35,000 or risk losing our space at Dearborn Station, our home for over 30 years.
We are asking for 350 of our loyal supporters to donate $100 each by May 31st in order for us to continue serving the youth of Chicago through the discipline of dance.

CMDC is a nonprofit (501(c)3) organization offering high-quality dance instruction in an environment that celebrates the diversity of its students & the community. CMDC is the only school in the world that teaches Hiplet, a ballet class that fuses classical pointe technique with Hip-Hop & urban dance styles.
Artistic Director Homer Bryant has been changing lives through dance for over 30 years, providing a welcoming environment for students of all abilities & backgrounds to pursue serious dance training. We intend to allow students from every community to experience dance education by partnering with schools in various programs, and offering full scholarships. We never turn a dancer away because of their inability to pay.
In addition to our students, we endeavor to expand the reach of our Hiplet Ballerinas, as they continue to mentor and influence children around the globe. Our message of inclusivity, in conjunction with our Hiplet performances, Lecture Demos, etc., will further our mission of impacting the lives of children through dance.
Your donation counts. Your donation is NEEDED. CMDC needs a home where we can carry on the teaching, training, dream, and legacy of Homer Hans Bryant. We have had the Bryant Ballet, and now we look to have the "Homer Hans Bryant School of Performing Arts - Home of the Hiplet Ballerinas".
Every donation allows our program to reach more children and assists us with reaching our goals. Some of our listed goals are:
-New Facility with State of the Art Studios that CMDC can call home
-A fully contracted Professional Dance Company with equal compensation to other professional companies
-Full Tuition Scholarships for Students
-Provision of Dance Attire for Students
-Crime Prevention programs incorporating dance workshops
-Mentorship programs
-Health & Wellness programs for dancers
-Senior programs (Dance, Creative Movement, etc)
-Mental Health Awareness and Support for Dancers
-Dance programs for People with Disabilities
