Ripple effects of police violence #Atatiana
Donation protected
Amber Carr is the sister of #AtatianaJefferson who was shot through her bedroom window by a Texas police officer while playing video games with her nephew, Amber’s then 7 year old son, October 12, 2019.
On December 15, 2021 the judge presiding over the case against the former cop that shot her to death decided to move the trial yet again. Her family will have gone almost 3 years without justice for Atatiana while her killer [Aaron Dean] walks free.
On the day the court made this decision Amber suffered a massive heart attack and flatlined before she was resuscitated. She was not expected to survive. Miraculously, Amber recovered and was even released from the hospital a few days after admission.
She returned home to a stolen car, a bank account that had been emptied by fraud and two children who were anxious and restless during the holiday season. Her anxiety levels caused a panic attack that resulted in her re-hospitalization.
Lets show Amber there is a community that has her back.
