The Ridge Family house fire

On Saturday evening Bryan, Kelly and Melany Ridge lost their entire home to a house fire.

After cooking a meal on the grill there was a leak in propane tank which caused an explosion blowing out the windows and igniting the home on fire. In a matter of minutes the entire home was engulfed in flames.

Luckily none of the family members or dogs were injured.

Despite the courageous efforts of the New Bern NC fire department they were unable to contain the fire.

My brother, Tyler, and I (Jennifer) have started this go fund me page to aid them in getting back on their feet.

For those of you who also know my sister, Melany, she lives with my parents and lost all of her possessions, clothes, games and medications as well.

Not only did they lose their home. My parents lost a lifetime of memories as well as possessions they loved and curated over their 39 years together building and raising our family.

The money donated and raised will help all three of them find a place to live, buy basic necessities we take for granted, food, as well as dog supplies, while they cope with this tragedy.

Any amount you can donate to help them during this tragic time would be greatly appreciated.
