The Rick Osial Memorial Fund for The Arts

As a retired member of the United States Navy Band, my father Rick Osial​ felt the experiences of the youth arts programs to be paramount in their development and happiness.

To honor the memory of my father, I ask that you help donate in his name to OrchKids. A charity he believed vital to the local development of the Baltimore Public School music programs, which has been burdened repeatedly by the Covid pandemic.

OrchKids is a year-round during and after-school music program designed by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to create social change, provide quality music education, and nurture promising futures for underserved youth in Baltimore City. In collaboration with several community partners, OrchKids provides music education, free instruments, meals, and academic mentorship and leadership skills to students in grades PreK-12 - ALL AT NO COST to families! OrchKids currently serves over 1,300 students.

This is not only a donation in memoriam, it is a helping hand to a fundamental developmental resource.
