Donation protected
Two years ago our friend Emmy was diagnosed with brain cancer. She had surgery and the tumour was partially removed, but it has started growing again. Her time left is now limited.
She doesn't have any insurance to help her out and won't receive any money from neither Swedish nor UK social security as the cancer was discovered abroad. This means she has to work 9-5 even though there is so much more she could be enjoying during the time she has left. She's currently writing her autobiography and we would love to read the finished copy.
We're asking everyone to help her with donations so she can focus on her autobiography and live her life to the fullest.

An extract from a draft copy of Emmys book:
I have cancer. Brain cancer. I have a tumour. A brain tumour. It will always be there, and it
will always grow. I look well, but I don’t feel well. Sometimes I would like to scream out loud
that I have f*cking cancer, get away from me, leave me alone. I can feel it getting worse. My
right arm went numb for 15 minutes. I feel like my whole right side is going to end to function.
I’m scared. I’m trying to learn sign language, but what’s the point when I can’t move my right
side. I’m angry, I’m frustrated and I’m scared. The words have been swallowed by my
tumour, I can’t talk! I feel completely useless. The doctors get together every third month and
take a decision about my life, MY life. I don’t want to die in a hospital. I think sometimes
about ending it. Die without any pain. But then again, Bruce wins.
