The Rescue of Rose
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Sammy, and with permission from Mark Tiffin, one of the incredible volunteers working to rescue Rose, I’m creating this fundraiser. For the past 7 days, a group of dedicated volunteers have been working day and night to save Rose, a little dog trapped in the cliffs of Halifax. Their selfless efforts have been nothing short of heroic, but unfortunately, it has come at a personal cost.
Throughout the rescue mission, several pieces of expensive equipment, including jackhammers and Stihl saws, have been damaged or destroyed. These tools belong to the volunteers, who rely on them for their small businesses. Replacing this essential equipment is a heavy financial burden, which is why I’m asking for your support.
How Your Donations Will Help:
- Replacement of Tools and Equipment: Your donations will go directly toward replacing or repairing the broken and damaged tools that are crucial for the volunteers’ work, both during the rescue and in their businesses.
- Covering Lost Wages: The volunteers have put their lives on hold to save Rose, which means they’ve lost income from their regular jobs. We want to ensure they’re not financially impacted by their amazing generosity.
- Vet Bills for Rose: Any funds raised will also contribute to covering Rose’s veterinary expenses after her rescue, ensuring she gets the care she needs.
- Additional Support: Should there be any leftover funds after these immediate needs are covered, they will be divided among the volunteers to further compensate them for their time and effort.
This fundraiser has the full approval of Rose’s owners, who are incredibly grateful for the volunteers’ dedication. We’ve adjusted the goal to reflect the real costs involved, as new damages and expenses come to light.
By donating, you’re not only helping to repair the tools and cover the costs, but you’re also showing these volunteers that their bravery and kindness have not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your generosity and for being part of this journey with us!
