The Renteria Family

Donation protected
In early October of 2020, Vicente Renteria was feeling unwell.  He was dizzy and had trouble concentrating and remembering details.  His wife, Maria, and daughter, Blanca, convinced him to go to the ER.  Vicente’s son, Eric, flew in from his home in North Carolina to be with the family.  After days of testing and diagnostics, doctors told the family that Vicente had a grade IV glioblastoma in the frontal cerebral lobes of his brain.

Surgery to remove the tumor was scheduled immediately as the family stayed by Vicente’s side as much as the hospital would allow.

After the surgery, Vicente spent several days in the ICU before being allowed to go home.  An aggressive treatment plan of chemotherapy and radiation treatments was devised and implemented.

Now the family is struggling with medical bills that are skyrocketing each day.  Vicente doesn’t have any health insurance as it’s not offered at his workplace.  Even with his family’s help and financial aid from Dallas county, it’s not enough to cover the mounting medical costs.

If you’re able to help this wonderful family in their time of great need, please donate what you’re able and forward this to everyone you know.  Please keep Vicente, Maria, Blanca, and Eric in your thoughts and prayers.

Every donation will help the Renteria family face the financial challenges ahead of them, and every bit of prayer and good thoughts will help them have the strength and courage to face each day.
