The rent is due, let's help Ana Anu!

Hello out there,
I have a very special, dear friend named Ana Anu.
Maybe she is your friend too?
Ana works around the clock.
As a Brooklyn based poet-educator-curator-event organizer-crone campaigner-community builder, Ana does many jobs that do not come with a steady paycheck. For the past year, she has been busy founding/running/directing the emerging ecofeminist artist collective called Forest For Trees, which creates and curates multimedia, genre-expanding environmental artworks that address gaps in climate, environmental, and ecojustice education. These are all areas that Ana has unique expertise in, and she is poised to do very impactful work with this platform--but she needs our help to make ends meet until funding comes through!!!
Forest For Trees Collective is exhibiting work all year long on historic Governors Island in New York City, and like many arts organizations, has been deprived of essential funding within a hostile political landscape. Waiting on grants that never came through, Ana has been struggling to keep up with living costs and has gotten behind on bills -- while working 60+ hours a week running Forest For Trees' multiple projects.
These funds will keep the lights on and rent paid until one of the many jobs Ana is working finally pays out.
If you know Ana and the work she is doing, you know we all benefit from the things she puts together for communities and artists. Please support her in continuing her essential work by donating what you can and sharing this with others who are able to do the same.
Thank you for showing up for someone who has been showing up rain or shine, for Grandmothers, Earth, and us.
If it were up to the Subject:
“I”…I’d defund money. I’d refund the forests and the single mamas too. I’d usurp the king and his capital. I’d invoke a multiplist party. But by Mä Law, the Subject: “I” is told and then untold by the Non-Subject, Non-Local, Non-I: We. It’s a matter of multiplicity; the yes/and. I and You: the We.
