'The Red Packet' short student film

Hi, we are shooting a beautiful meaning short film for our uni course. 'The Red Packet' is a drama short film that explores how love transcends language barriers and can be just as powerful when expressed through actions instead of words. The story follows Sophie, who can only speak English, and her grandmother, Ling, who can only speak Cantonese, which is a dialect of Mandarin. They communicate through gestures and actions, and yet it does not diminish their love for each other. The film is set during a Chinese New Year celebration and serves as a tribute to Chinese culture and traditions.
