This pandemic has caused us all such hard times physically, emotionally and financially.
I know many of you are aware right at the beginning of the season in march we changed the location of the red lion, then everything closed down along with ours and many others incomes.
We have had no government support so have been surviving on our small amount of savings and have borrowed from family and friends.
Our over heads are over €3,500 per month, although our rents were suspended by law for 3 months this is now finished and we have to start paying again and paying back the suspended amounts. Yet british tourist have not yet returned.
We are working and trying very hard and have had some faithful customers from the expat community in and around albufeira. Thankfully we are still able to eat and keep a limited stock in the bar.
We are worried about our immediate and long term financial future.
How can you help? Family, friends and customers have suggested crowd funding and I know many of you will say why didn't you ask? So we are asking.
Anyone who knows us will understand how difficult it is for us to ask.
However little it may seem to you will mean so much to us.
We have loved serving you over the last 5 years and would love to be able to keep doing so.
