On July 22, our home was hit by a terrible storm. The damage is extensive. My wife’s car was totaled by a fallen tree, and our home and garage/studio have multiple incidents of damage. The pictures show the damage to the car, but not to the house; we had to leave quickly. There are two trees that still remain that are threatening the home. One is suspended above the house, being held up only by other branches. It is going to fall. The other is a large oak that split down the center but has not fallen yet. The roof needs to be repaired and the trees removed before the home can be lived in. Until then, my 5-year-old daughter, my wife, our pets, and I are pretty much homeless. The car was her only transportation to work. The garage studio is where I worked, and now there is a tree through the roof. In a blink, we have no car, no home, and no way to work. We just need a break. Thank you.
