The Rebuild Your Mind Initiative
Why is the Rebuild Your Mind Initiative in Existence? To destimagmatize Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) & Mental Health, LET'S TALK ABOUT IT!... CDC research found that every 11 minutes someone dies from suicide , these statistics both brought death & destruction directly to the front door of AYBOS Marketing. From this direct trauma they began to develop the solutions to transform Colorado into the most efficient TRAUMA INFORMED, CONSCIOUS and RESPONSIVE State in the US. For more on AYBOS story see the Channel 7 News story below...
AYBOS Marketing, Parker Stokes Mental Health, & the Aurora 80010 community assembled the "Rebuilding The Mind of Colorado Traumatic Brain Injury Workshop". The Workshop was an extension of the AYBOS DRAFTED Senate Bill 21 138 (Addressing Traumatic Brain Injuries in Criminal Justice), sponsored by Senator James Coleman & Rep Jennifer Bacon, signed by Colorado Governor Jared Polis on 7/6/2021, (* See cover photo) as well as other grassroots efforts to help develop the safest state.
Aurora Representative Dafna Michaelson Janet was so inspired by the data of the Workshop that she asked Parker Stokes Mental Health to convene a committee of concerned constituents affected by living in the area. This sparked a Town Hall meeting to hear the solutions that AYBOS has created for the state, amongst a panel to include Senator James Coleman, Aurora Rep Dafna Michaelson Janet, Adams CO Commissioner Chaz Tedesco, Rep Jennifer Bacon, and many industry experts, community members and leaders.
The overall goal is to transform Colorado into the most efficient trauma informed, conscious and responsive State in the country led by the research of Head Neuropsychologist of Denver University Professor Kim Gorgens. This is not easy work and requires a collective effort as mental health and trauma affects all walks of life. AYBOS knows from experience that this requires a united front to make such a sustained change. IN ORDER FOR THIS RESEARCH & WORK TO CONTINUE, AYBOS & REBUILD YOUR MIND NEED YOUR HELP!
AYBOS Marketing has pooled and spent over $40,000 on the social responsibility of exposing the void of attention to Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) and Mental Health in disadvantaged communities through the RYM Challenge. Each RYM Challenge video is a new RYM Digital Case Study!
