The Rawlings Family

As many of you know the Rawlings family lost a young mother in January, leaving Josh to raise their boys on his own. Today they have lost their home due to a fire. This is a total loss. This family will need to start over. They will need housing, food, clothes, furniture and any support we can give. Our community has always been strong and willing to help those in need. This is our time to shine. I have the privilege to know Josh and his boys and they are outstanding people. Josh is one of the hardest working men I have ever met. Not only does he work long hours but he then volunteers his time to help our kids enjoy sports. I have watched Josh coach baseball, football and wrestling. I have seen him work food booths constantly to help out. Rhys frequently comes to play with my son and I will say he is an absolute pleasure to have in our home. He is being raised to be a very respectful and well-mannered young man, just like his older brothers. I have created this fundraiser with the approval of Josh and all money will go directly to the family. Please keep in mind, if a monetary donation is not possible please consider clothes, gift cards, school supplies (back packs, lunch boxes). If you need help getting any donations of these items to Josh, Danielle Lightner and I will gladly pick them up and make sure he gets them. I cannot imagine the toll of this has taken on this family.  My heart breaks for this family and I am so inspired how they have continued to push through anything that they have been faced with. Many hear the phrase "it takes a village to raise a child", well it also takes a village to get through times like these. Please find it in your heart to give them your support.
