"The Raven" Student Film Fundraiser

Hello All,

My name is Letitia Tiranayake and I am currently working on my graduation film, “The Raven”.

My first introduction to "The Raven" was in the form of a mural, in my favorite teachers classroom. This alone piqued my interest, and after reading the poem I was hooked. I fell in love with the eerie worlds Poe was able to build through his poems, and I hope to do the same in my films. This film is a thank you note to my teacher, and to Poe.

The film delves into themes of grief, guilt, and despair. It follows a man shattered by the loss of his wife, consumed by grief until he begins to spiral into madness. It's a journey through the depths of the human psyche, where the lines of reality are blurred.

Your donations will largely go to the art department for construction cost and resources for our hand painted sets. It will also go to costume and transportation costs.
