My name is Amanda Dykes and I created this fundraiser on behalf of the Raleigh family.

Hearts have been shattered this week from the loss of Shawn Raleigh. Shawn passed very suddenly this past Monday. He left this world at the young age of 41. He was a Husband, a Father, a Son, and a Brother. Shawn leaves behind his Wife Lucy and their two Son’s Jaxon(12) and Brantley(9).

I am asking for donations to help alleviate the added expenses in the coming days, weeks, and months as Lucy is now the sole provider.

Shawn loved to go fishing. He spent a lot of days on his kayak. Trying to reel in a big fish. He loved participating in fishing tournaments with his buddies. Many will tell you. Fishing is what he is doing right now in Heaven. He was very blessed with the time he was given on Earth to take his 2 boys fishing and hunting. He was able to teach them a lot of things that he loved to do.

Shawn really loved to meet new people. He knew no stranger. He could talk to the wall. He was a very vibrant person and he genuinely loved making people happy.

Shawn was also a baseball coach. To a group of kids that have been playing together since they were 4 years old. Jaxon and Brantley have been playing sports for many years. Shawn wanted them to be the best they could be in all that they did. He was very involved in all of their activities. To see them win or accomplish a tough battle would bring him such joy.

Shawn had a tough exterior. But deep inside him. He was very gentle. He was proud of the family he created with his wife, Lucy. I know that given a choice. He would have never left them this soon. He would want to be here providing for his family.

I ask that you please donate to this wonderful family so they can hold each other tight for a little longer.
