Hi! My name is Lacey and on September 14th I suffered an Arteriovenous Malformation rupture in my brain which caused a hemorrhagic stroke. I was life-flighted to Novant Health in Wilmington for emergency care in the Neuro ICU and stayed there for 4 days.

Luckily, I have fully recovered from my incident, but I’m not quite out of the woods yet. In the next month, I will undergo radio-surgery at Duke Cancer Center to make sure this problem stays gone.

While my husband is back to work, I’m out of work for the foreseeable future. As I’m sure you’re aware - all of this has been pretty pricey on top of our regular bills. All funds from this will be used toward medical bills, as well as cost of living until I’m back on my feet.
