On April 4, 2021 after servicing at their church for Easter Sunday Service the lives of our dear friends the Quintana Family were turned upside down.  Carlos Quintana, the family patriarch suffered a heart attack and was rushed via ambulance to Physicians Regional Hospital for treatment.  After initial evaluations, it was determined Carlos would need a triple bypass heart surgery to facilitate appropriate blood flow to his heart.  After a few days in the ICU, (in order to stabilize Carlos for surgery) the operation was performed and was successful.  Unfortunately, Carlos had recently accepted a position in his field of maintenance at a new company and his insurance had not taken effect as he had not been employed the necessary 90 days.  Carlos and Monique share a beautiful, faith filled family which includes their three sons.  They are standing in faith that the Lord will provide according to their needs.  As such, we are reaching out for your help.  Carlos is the primary bread winner in the home and with the anticipated 3+ months of recovery and the labor-intensive nature of his trade, supplementing his income will be a necessity.  In addition to his inability to return to work right away, without insurance his medications to treat his cardiac illness and existing Type II diabetes are adding up.  It is our intention to raise the sum of $6000 to help supplement Carlos’s income for the to assist the family with rent, utilities, food, vehicle payments and other regular needs and supply his much-needed medication.  In doing so, we hope Carlos can take the time his body needs to recover fully from this traumatic event and eliminate the risk of him returning to work prior to complete recovery. 

 

Carlos is a dedicated, loving, and supportive husband, father, friend, mentor, pastor, and coach.  He has impacted so many lives throughout the years with his dedication to the Community and Church.  Whether you met him on the street, he was your Youth Pastor, your Softball Coach, or a shoulder to cry on for Godly counsel you can always rely on him.   Now he and his family need to rely on us.  Please give what you can, if you can, and if you can not feel free to share and encourage others.
