A Quest for 3 million human powered feet of skiing

Hello, I'm Noah Dines, an adventurous spirit on a mission to achieve something truly monumental in the world of human-powered skiing. In 2024, I am setting out to break the World Record by conquering 3 million vertical feet on skis—a feat equivalent to summiting Mt. Everest over 1,000 times. This ambitious goal will require me to ski nearly 10,000 vertical feet every single day, with just a few well-deserved rest and travel days sprinkled throughout the journey. For a full year, I will push my limits, committing myself wholeheartedly to this monumental task. It's a challenge I've never faced before—immersing myself in one endeavor for an entire year—and I believe it's a powerful way to not only test my own boundaries but also to inspire others to spend more time outdoors and push themselves beyond what they thought possible.

Why am I up to the task? Last year, I set a goal and accomplished it—I ascended 1 million vertical feet across various sports, from skiing to biking, and on foot. Over 335 days of dedication and perseverance, I surpassed half a million feet skiing and over 400,000 feet biking. This achievement has given me the confidence and determination to take on this enormous challenge of skiing 3 million vertical feet.
