The Queen of the Forest Laura Woollard❤️

To so many people Laura was the smiling face of Hatfield Forest. She made everyone feel welcome with her infectious laugh and the offer of a sausage roll or a slice of lemon drizzle. She was always ready with a sympathetic ear or risque joke. So vibrant, positive, with a full-on charactor and above all so very kind.

For over a decade Laura shared so much love and support for everone she worked with, including all of her treasured regulars. She touched so many hearts and it was a complete shock to all that she has been taken from us far too soon. So many faces knew of her and this alone showed how well loved she was.

Everyone has mentioned about raising money to have a place to come together in memory of Laura.

This would stand the test of time and feel she’d approve of a picnic table engraved with some wise words from herself. It would be such a lovely way to commemorate her beautiful life.

Giving those faces, new and old a place to rest their weary legs and gather to celebrate this life she so gratefully appreciated❤️
