The Quadgods

Hello there! I'm Richard Jacobs, co-owner of the Quadgods, the first and only "All Quadriplegic" esports team. Our team of six members - five men and one woman - with varying levels of injury, is dedicated to spreading awareness about the disabled gaming community and demonstrating that disabled gamers can compete at the highest levels.

We are more than just a gaming team, though. We're on a mission to promote inclusivity in the gaming industry and raise awareness of the disabled gaming industry. Our goal is to create a welcoming space for people with disabilities to belong, feel supported, and thrive.

One of our team members, Sergio, has experienced first-hand the transformative power of gaming. After an extreme mountain biking accident left him paralyzed from the neck down, he struggled to find activities that he could participate in. However, when he discovered adaptive gaming, he found a new passion that gave him a sense of purpose and community. Sergio now competes with the Quadgods and wants to inspire others to pursue their passions, regardless of their physical limitations.
