The Purple Lady

Hi, my name is Melinda, and I am fundraising for a dear friend and fellow Realtor (retired) that many of you have known as the Purple Lady...Mary Alice.

Mary Alice is a friend and long-time business associate who has come into tough times. I have never done anything like this before, but because of her situation, I felt compelled to help her in any way I could.

Mary Alice has lost everything in the last two years, not the least of which was her husband of 42 years, her job and her home. She has no family to help her. Now failing health has caused her inability to live alone anymore, so, unfortunately, she has had to move to assisted living. Although her social security pays for her room & food...she has no money left to live on for everyday basics. When she moved into assisted living, she sold all her belongings and had $15,000 in cash from the sale...Shortly after moving into the facility, someone stole all the money leaving her with nothing. The police investigated it, but they were unable to solve the case.

Mary Alice has been a caring and generous person all her life, so I am asking you to help in any way you can now.

All funds will go directly to Mary Alice for her everyday living expenses.
