What is The Protest App?
The Protest App or "ProApp" for short, is a mobile application that will revolutionize the way traditional protests are carried out across the world. I plan to achieve this by giving protesters the ability to organize and orchestrate their demonstration of solidarity more effectively and efficiently. Due to recent events that have ignited the world with protests as a result of social injustices and systematic racism, I was inspired to create a platform that would give protesters a better chance for a successful campaign from my strategical perspective. A protest usually starts as the idea of a specific individual or group with the same specific purpose and agenda. However, this once specific purpose and agenda can become vaguely misconstrued as its popularity increases with new supporters that sometimes add their own ideas and agendas to the collective. As a result, the original goal of the protest can lose some, if not all, of the original context due to the lack of precise execution and organization. That’s where the Protest App steps in. No longer will anyone have the ability to hijack or alter your specific purpose of protesting. No longer will confusion and disagreement amongst your supporters be the ultimate demise of your protest! Protest creators will have the ability to clearly define exactly what the protest is for, their demands, and expectations while simultaneously keeping supporters updated with essential information.

Who Am I?
My name is Daudi Muhammad. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I'm an engineer who holds two bachelor degrees from the Historical Black College and University known as Prairie View A&M University. I have personally worked for several top national technology companies during my professional career and is still gainfully employed. Last but not least, I am a black man who is not far removed from my community that can sense our dire need of a real change. I recently founded a company called BlackMindz that I plan to do just that with! We are here to fill a void in a industry where so-called diversity is not so diverse. We plan on making a path for those who are denied the opportunities they deserve by creating our own technological infrastructures.
Why Support Me?
My aspirations and goals for this fundraiser are genuine. I plan to do as I say and faithfully fulfill what I believe to be my divine purpose in life. I am your brother. Help me positively affect the world. No donation is too small or too large since I usually have a hard time bringing myself to ask anyone for anything. However, I've placed my pride to the side for once to see if one of my many ideas is indeed what the world truly wants.
How Will The Money Be Used?
Funds will be used to pay professional developers, graphic designers, web hosting fees, data storage, advertising, and all administrative costs associated in building this functional mobile application. I want to develop an application that is a joy to use. Not one of those apps that is low budget and filled with glitches and a poor user experience. The phrase is true. "You get what you pay for." Any additional funds left over after this app is delivered will be used to fund the development of other useful technology projects created under the BlackMindz umbrella.
$1,000,000....Really?
Why not $2,000,000 (lol)? There's no real goal amount for this project. Just know that all funds will be managed responsibly and invested into real products that will help the world. Without having to give away too much sensitive information in regards to The Protest App, I plan to have some really advanced features for this application that will require senior-level mobile developers to code. This can become quite expensive. This app really will revolutionize protesting in a major way and hold people who falsely say they're going to do things accountable.
