The Prosa Family of Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas represents 3 generations of Bahamian Dreams. Andrew and Heather Prosa, their 2 children Luke (13) and Fina (8),  have been an asset the local economy and community.


The Hope Town Coffee House, established in 2006 was a family business that included their grandmother’s recipes and pepper jelly, They were the first Coffee Roasters in The Bahamas, pairing their unique brands with homemade recipes created by grandmother Marilyn and Heather. 
Inspiring: They proved that working hard, creating a brand, running a restaurant and raising a family is a possible dream that could be achieved by others in Hope Town.  

That is until hurricane Dorian struck The Bahamas and literally tore away everything they had  worked for.  The entire community and the Prosa family LOST EVERYTHING. Their home, their investment,  their business, their belongings— all lost to the wind, rain and destruction of Dorian. EVERYTHING!

A private group of Florida residents made arrangements to get the family out of total devastation and helped get them to Florida.  Immediate evacuation of the family, temporary living arrangements where made for them, in addition to getting fees paid for the kids schooling, and temporary living/food expenses accomplished! The family arrived in South FL with only 2 backpacks and a carry on consisting of EVERYTHING they have left

We need your help!!!

The family has not only lost all their personal belongings, but also their source of income and livelihood! 


This is not a short term problem, but long term and they are in need of the ability to live daily, have their children happy, have housing, have food, have clothing, and to be able to rebuild the opportunity to work again. They are in so much need of everything! Please join us and come together in helping this local Bahamian family rebuild their lives and the lives of future generations!!!
