We are a team of passionate creatives raising money so we can make a film to further our careers, make a mark in the industry, and make the world a little less spooky.

The Story

“The Pringle Mingle” is a comedic thriller (keyword: comedic) centered around Lily and Jack, a young couple desperately trying to rekindle the spark in their relationship. They plan a romantic getaway for the weekend, but things go awry as they arrive at the vacation home and realize they aren’t alone.

This story is meant to make you laugh, to bring light into what can sometimes be a dark world and highlight the value of human connection. It’s funny, it’s sexy, and it’s a little spooky!

Why “The Pringle Mingle”?

From the creator:

As an actor, it can be disheartening to sit around and wait for a casting call that may never come - this is the reason I created this film. I wanted to give myself, and the rest of the team involved, an opportunity to make our own work and take the lead in our own career development. My goal is to create a quality project we can take pride in, and submit to film festivals so we, as creatives, can gain recognition for all our hard work.

As a first-time screenwriter, I wasn’t sure this script would ever make it outside my head, so I am eternally grateful I found an amazing crew who believe in the story and were so willing to jump on board this passion project. This script was written with a lot of love, a lot of humour, and a little fear (just sharing part of my soul with the world, no big deal). Whether you enjoy quirky characters, comedic dialogue, some sensuality, or maybe even a jump scare – this film has something for everyone.

Your support will allow us, as emerging filmmakers, the opportunity to bring our vision of this story to life by giving us the ability to access the resources we need for the pre-to-post-production process. There are a lot of costs that go into making a film - from location fees, to gear rental, to renting a truck to carry that gear, to post-production, and of course, feeding our team on set - we want to ensure we’re prepared and everyone is treated well.
