My Initiation Journey With Your Help

Greetings. Thanks so much for being here and considering becoming part of this cauldron of support.

Thank you, too, to everyone who's contributed already to reach the goal. Wow. Parts of me are so touched, opened, and humbled. When I launched this I really didn't know what was going to happen. Where it felt like in the creating the page and making the request I'd done what I could do. And where this feels like a masculine energy... the feminine energy is what opens up to receive. Which has so been my experience this week when it surpassed the target amount! So thanks to one and all.

As some context for what this all is --- with an invitation to become part of it --- I created this page as part of a men’s Initiation Journey recently returned from in the middle of Costa Rica. I'd never done anything like this before. I've rarely participated in groups, let alone a group of men in brotherhood. Up to now, I've also largely been going it alone in my life, in my career as well as in the evolution as a man. And while this path has birthed many of my unique splendors, the retreat feels like a pivotal and powerful experience as part of the phase of my life. 

In the process of committing to this journey I also decided to close the gallery at the end of May. While opening a new art business in the middle of a pandemic was strange and unprecedented on pretty much every count, what a joy it was to create all the life-affirming art and ripples that did flow out into the world, of which there were many. In hindsight it feels like it was the 5th art installation that was up for 92 weeks instead of just 1. So many lives touched indeed. I'm also deeply grateful for all the ways I grew and evolved as a human and artist through the experience of creating that portal in that enchanting courtyard. 

It's also with  business being affected in the courtyard / downtown Sausalito that this page exists to help with the (my) cash flow as part of these transitions. I knew first-hand through the art installations I created in the past that a little from a lot adds up. And so now, with my friends suggestion (and encouragement) this is being applied to me as part of my creative journey of unfolding.

So if feel inspired to become a part of these ripples, contribute an amount that brings you joy and welcome! Where you'll become part of all the creative ripples that will be set in motion moving forward from here as part of the next post-gallery phase. Here's to the the mysteries and marvels of this human experience. Of going in to find out. Of deeper connection. Deeper openness. Deeper vulnerability. Deeper surrender. Deeper receptivity. Deeper peace. Deeper presence. Deeper transformation. Deeper empowerment.
