The Power of a £1

Hello, my name is Andy and I'm 55 years old.

I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer almost a year ago, I've undergone chemotherapy from May 2022, without success. Just after my 55th birthday in September I was given a terminal diagnosis, with a prognosis of five to seven months , i am somewhere close to the end of that now.

I have in the past been a fundraiser, for Cancer Research , Marie Curie and St Margarets Hospice with a lot of help from my wife Tina. We raised considerable amounts of money for these charities and enjoyed every second of it.

I would like to spread some awareness about this sneaky and unforgiving Cancer, that very often, like in my case was detected too late for treatment. So , I am asking if anyone would be kind enough to donate just £1 ( or more if you like ), which after my death will be incredibly helpful to my wife and 3 children aged eighteen , sixteen and twelve.

I hope to be able to update on a weekly basis with information about Pancreatic Cancer and my personal journey . This diagnosis was completely devastating , apart from having a brain anneurisym over twenty years ago , I was , up until now very fit and healthy. 

I myself will not benefit from any money donated , every penny will go to my family to try and help them rebuild their lives and give me some comfort knowing they'll be okay.
