The Popcorn Baron Machinery Upgrade Fund

Hello and thank you for your interest! Most of you reading this already know who I am and what I do. If you are new here, I will tell you my story. My name is Keith and I have been creating flavored popcorn for three years as a hobby that has grown into a business. I am also a member of the FGC (Fighting Game Community) and I have been playing competitively for several years. This community is the backbone of why I do this and without them, this would have never come to the point we are at now. For the last couple of years, I have been sharing and growing my product in person at the very events that support me with staff, event organizers, and patrons alike all contributing input. These events have pushed my business forward and grown my confidence in my ability to produce a fantastic product!

With the onset of COVID-19, as you know, all live events came to a halt in my community as well as many around the globe to stop the spread. Due to this pandemic, many have had to adapt to the changes of our world to give some semblance of normality in these trying times. For many years, I have been growing my hobby into a business with the feedback and the demand of my community, their families, and friends. I have largely kept my business as a labor of love for this very community mainly because of my limitations as a sole owner that does all of this himself. Everything I have done up until this point has been personally funded to give back a product that this community loves and wants at their events. When events halted, I was faced with a decision around many legalities to continue production by means of online shipping. This comes with positives as well as setbacks and expectations to deliver a higher level of service as I could potentially be serving a much larger audience over a time frame that is not just limited to in-person events. Recently, I launched a beta for online shipping that was open to my most ardent fans and the response was tremendous! With that I also learned that my current capacity to produce is not where I need it to be in order to serve more of you.

Up until this point I have funded my popcorn-producing upgrades by means of offline in-person events, and with the pandemic that has not been possible for the majority of the year. To speed up the proccess and make online ordering available to a larger audience, I need your help! The video linked above is what your donations are going towards as well as professional installation and ventilation. This has been a business I have grown primarily by my own means and income. This is the first time I have ever asked for help from the community and I do not do so lightly. With this machine, I can amplify my production tenfold to meet the demand of the community and expand my audience to the families and friends around the nation. It is this community that has given me the confidence needed to move forward and you have my eternal gratitude for recognizing the love and dedication I put into every kernel I make.

I am asking for a one time minimum $5 donation to go towards this upgrade as the quicker I am funded, the sooner I can reopen online shipping and be able to handle the increased demand for all that are interested.
