Tubbercurry GAA Club as a community based organisation have had members whose lives have been touched by Cancer or Suicide. The club have decided to run this fundraiser in support of the North West Hospice who provide palliative care with compassion for those living with life-limiting illness in our communities and Pieta House who provide free therapy to those engaging in self-harm, suicidal ideation, or have been bereaved by suicide. 2020 has been a very difficult year for charities to fundraise and the club would like to offer our assistance.
The Polar Express takes off in Tubbercurry.
This December 19th, Tubbercurry GAA club members will bring festive cheer to Tubbercurry with their fundraiser, the Polar Express. A 4,000km virtual cycle to the North Pole from Tubbercurry.
