Dear Placitas Family! I'm Virginia, one of the many friends of the Placitas Cafe duo John and Christine. As you may or may not know, John suffered a stroke a week ago, was hospitalized and now is rehabbing at home. We realize that just the two of them run the Cafe day in and day out. Now with the right hand on the fritz, the left hand will have to struggle. Adding to that struggle is the fact that they have discovered their insurance was arbitrarily cancelled. Medical costs today are beyond astronomical, which is, in fact, an understatement.

They could really use some help, as you may imagine. John, Christine, and the Cafe are essential to the life we enjoy here in Placitas. Please consider lending a hand. It will be hugely appreciated.
