This is Mike, Cathy, Tucker(4.5) and Scarlett(3) Piotrowski, a wonderful family that has received the most devastating news. Mike (48), has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer, for which there is currently no cure. Mike is now facing the most difficult fight of his life.
He is currently receiving the standard of care at Jefferson Hospital, which includes 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. After we see how the tumor reacts, we will evaluate the need for additional treatments including clinical trials. We invite all who know and love this family to please show their support.
