Paul, Polly Wog, needs our help more than ever. Our die hard Raider fan and life of the party was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure April 2024. After Open heart surgery in mid-August, we thought he was recovering well. That all changed August 24th. The doctors found blood clots in his brain and eventually found a mass near his liver and pancreas. Then the world stopped September 6. Stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. Since then it has taken over Paul’s body and he is declining rapidly that chemo isn’t even an option. The Pina family wants to provide Paul with the best care possible for the time he has left. This cancer is taking him too fast, and the family needs assistance covering already incurred medical bills, new medical bills, 24/7 hospice care, future funeral expenses, and lost income for his wife April, who has been his sole caregiver the last 2 months.

Paul is a loving husband, supportive father to 4 children, and playful grandpa to his 6 grand-children. The sudden decline in his health has been a huge shock to his family with an unimaginable outcome. He is loved by so many friends and family and always knew how to put a smile on our faces.

It saddens me to inform everyone that, Tuesday September 24th Paul passed away peacefully in his sleep. Paul spent his last night surrounded by loved ones, laughter, his favorite music, and even one final taste of his favorite adult beverage. He was reminded how much he was loved in his final hours and had a memorable final evening on this earth. The generosity and love Paul has already received is incredible and the family is forever grateful. Any contribution is appreciated to help cover his final medical bills and funeral costs.
