The Pilgrimage of Hope
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Pilgrimage of Hope GoFundMe page. I'm raising £500 (or more!) for the St Osmund's Parish Centre on Exeter Street in Salisbury. I will be walking the Pilgrimage of Hope in August and September. I would love it if you could join me in this endeavour by donating or by joining us in person for a day or two.
I will be carrying a cross from St Osmund's Primary School which is next door to the Centre and I will be praying for the school families as I journey. We will start in Cardiff and reach Nottingham for the Feast of the Holy Cross in September 200+ miles later - will you journey with me by donating to the Centre? Landmarc Support Services will consider matching the first £500 that we can raise - so every pound you contribute could be worth two! And of course please join your prayers to those of all Pilgrims of Hope as we undertake this great celebration of the Jubilee Year 2025.
So if you like walking, join by clicking here ! I will be walking the St Matthews Way from Cardiff to Nottingham, over 200 miles on 15 days, and you can join in for a day or two and pick the section you'd like to do with us. All the information about sections and on which dates we will be there are here .
You must register, so we know who to expect - the form is here .
The Parish Centre is a listed building, so we have all the issues around keeping the heat in and the water out of an old historic building. It's a space that people use for parties, meetings, lectures, events, and Christian fellowship. We share meals together, we share our faith and our joys and sometimes our sorrows too. It is a place that is available to a wide variety of people and groups and free of charge.
Thank you!
