The Pickering Family

On December 10th, my father and I were travelling in Hong Kong from nearby Shenzhen, China. His name was Robert Pickering. Late in the evening he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. They were not able to save him. He was 46 years old and leaves behind 6 kids and his wonderful wife, my mother.

I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters that my mom now has to take care of all while working 3 part time jobs. After living in China for many years, it is now time for us to get back home to the US and be with family and friends who can help and support us.

If we are fortunate enough to receive any money, it will first be used to travel back home and then to settle into a life in the US where we have a very loving and supportive family, but nothing else.
