Peers family home inundated with water from storm!

G'day Everyone, my name is Brandan Reilly and I am raising much needed funds for family friends of ours, Tim and Taylor who were caught up in a freak storm event in Deniliquin on Tuesday November 28th evening into Wednesday morning 29th of November 2023 that saw their home flooded and inundated with inches of water.

Rain forecast was only up to a maximum of around 50mm but Deniliquin received close to 200mm in a 24hr period. Unfortunately the extraordinary amount of rain that fell caused widespread flooding and filled local streets in Deniliquin and into peoples homes. Tim & Taylor had an extraordinary amount of water enter their home with no time to prepare as the water was entering their home as they were waking up.

The Peers family have been hit hard. Tim and Taylor have 3 beautiful children under 9 and due to the rising cost of living had to save money and cancelled their home contents insurance to ensure the long hours they work could continue to pay the bills and put food on the table. This is a huge kick in the guts to a hard working family right on Christmas who have lost pretty much most things they owned.

The Peers family need help now to purchase new clothes for the kids, white goods, electrical items etc to replace everything that has been lost to the flooding through their home. All money raised will be going to support the Peers Family get back on their feet.
