The passing of Philip Jason Laws

My name is De-etta Brown. Unfortunately, on Wednesday March 26th, we lost a good one. Philip Jason Laws was born in Wilkes Co. NC. He also spent some of his life living in St.Augustine, FL until moving back to NC. He had some health problems recently, but none of us realized just how bad they really were. He only has a sister living and she's in FL. I'm trying to help as much as I can to take as much burden as I can from her. I knew Philip, or Flip as some of us knew him, for at least 25 years. He was always good to anyone and everyone. He would give you the shirt off his back off you needed it. So if you could spare anything to help with his cremation, it would be greatly appreciated. It's never easy to lose someone, but to not be able take care of their final expenses is the worst. And of course, if you can't give share and pray for us. Thank you

UPDATE: I have turned off accepting donations for this fundraiser! Because of the generosity of all of you who donated, sent me money personally, and a gift from a family member of mine that I've never met, I met the goal and was able to have my dear friend cremated. I just want to say thank you for not just the money to help, but the prayers as well! Still working on a possible celebration of life. I'll make sure there's an announcement for anyone who would like to come. In the meantime, please continue praying for the family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you
