The passing of our Anchor, John Anthony Benavides
Hi, My name is Noah Benavides, My siblings and I are creating this fundraiser in honor of my Father, John Anthony Benavides.
As well as helping my Mother, Leticia Benavides get back on her feet, financially.
My Father served proudly in the Military during Desert Storm and would always talk about his time in the service, he was a proud Veteran.
In 2004, my parents lost their daughter LeSaundra, and it was a difficult time for my family, but My Dad wanted to make sure he would see his Daughter again in heaven, so he committed himself to Jesus and accepted him as his Lord and savior, my father served anyway he could in the church, from cutting grass to becoming security. He was faithful to God’s word.
He was the type of man to give his shirt to you right off his back, the type of man to do a favor for you at no cost. He did things from the kindness of his heart.
No he wasn’t perfect, because nobody is, but he did come a long way.
He always strived for the better and never settled,
He always provided for our family, even with his medical issues. He kept our family together and always planned out our trips and activities. My Father, was a hardworking man, a man that would take anyone in need of help into his home. So many people can vouch for that.
He was such an intelligent man, he would be able to answer any question we had, and if he didn’t know, he would do his research and let us know.
My Father, was adventurous and creative. He was humorous and tried keeping everyone in a good mood.
Our Dad was the best father anyone could ever ask for and we are thankful for the time God let us have him here, and we know without a doubt he is no longer suffering or in pain, he met the greatest man to ever be known face to face, Jesus Christ. He is now with his daughter LeSaundra.
Now for my Mom, Leticia, we will always be here for her, and cherish her very much. That’s my Dad’s best friend and lover. They had 5 beautiful children together, as well as having 4 beautiful grandchildren.
together as a family we will be here and protect her and care for her, that is what my Dad would have wanted, so we humbly ask for any donation, from what ever you feel in your heart, or even a prayer for our family, we would very much appreciate it.
Thank you,
Noah Benavides and Family.
