The passing of Janeen Sporl

You may know Janeen Sporl from her work as a Radiologist Tech or an awesome upbeat bartender at The Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Tonasket WA. My mom was a positive vibrant influence on many lives and could light up a room just by her entering it, she holds a special place in many hearts.

My mother, Janeen Sporl, sadly passed away on November 5th 2022 at age 65. She battled a longtime with Emphysema and COPD.

As her daughter and only child, I have started this funeral fundraiser to help cover the costs of her funeral expenses/memorial service. Our family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, my mother does not have alot of assets and was on a fixed income,

during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community, friends, and loved ones for help.

Janeen was a proud veteran and we have reached out to the Dept.Of Veteran's Affairs for help as well, but they offer minimal assistance.

The National Funeral Directors Association estimates that the median cost of a funeral service ranges from $6,260 to $8,755, depending on whether it is a cremation or traditional burial. This does not include cemetery charges, monument or marker costs, or items like flowers and an obituary.

Janeen will be cremated and that alone costs $2,055, including death certificates and obituary.
