Our beloved mother Darlene Mae Crosby recently passed on June 7th from aggressive lung cancer and a series of strokes. Dani (as many knew her) was a SPECIAL kind of spirit, I’m not sure she belonged on this earth. If it were up to her, she would run with the wolves, fly with the crows or swim with the otters. She has always been an artist, and on Dani’s good days…she was witty, creative and full of light. Her knowledge and love for all things in nature was unmatched! Mom has her wings now and can truly be the beautiful free spirit she was, without the weight of the world.

Dani wasn’t alone in her transition, she left us peacefully and with that sparkle in her eye to the very end. Dani, “Maw’otter”, leaves behind two siblings, five children, eight grandkids and seven grand-fur babies(she wouldn’t want me to leave them out).

Although Mom was spiritually ready to fly away, she wasn’t prepared in any worldly responsibilities. We are asking for a modest bit of support to give mom the proper memorial of her wishes. And to help with the expenses the family accrued in travel and final treatments on such short notice.
