The Parody Fund

In June/July of this year my Dad, Doug Parody, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It had already spread to his liver by the time they had found it and it wasn't looking very good. They gave him 6 months, maybe 12 months with chemo. We had to move up my wedding from next June to this September to make sure he was able to be there and walk his only child down the aisle. Thankfully he was able to do just that, however after that he began to really go down hill. He fought hard as hell and did everything in his power to try to live as long as he could, he just wasn't ready to go. Unfortunately life had a different plan for him. Friday morning, December 21st, he sadly passed away. 

He is very loved by so many people both family and friends a like. He was always doing everything he could to help others and to have fun with life. He never wanted anything in return. My kids and I were his pride and joy and my mother was the love of his life. They have been together since they were 16 years old and going strong even now that he was 55 years old. He had a huge heart and will be greatly missed by all.
