Help The Park Slope Co-Op Play debut at Ars Nova's ANT Fest
Donation protected
We’re all heroes when we work the Cheese Shift at the Park Slope Co-Op. It does seem like the Cheese Shift Leader maybe faked her death, but we’re all too polite to ask. There’s rot in the basement, but it’s supposed to be there? We all might be in danger, but then again we’re all so lucky.
Part satire, part slasher, Homofermenters follows the Friday 6AM cheese shift as its members navigate joint ownership, the collapsing planet, widow-twins, and how to cut through a human-sized wheel of parmesan.
Madison and Francesca are so excited to have been accepted into Ars Nova's All New Talent (ANT) Fest, the leading incubator for emerging theater artists in NYC; you can view our amazing cast and team here, and learn more about the festival and its incredible alums here.
Ars Nova will give us a stipend and split the box office revenue with us, which will cover of all our material and space rental fees; the theater will also cover all marketing, space, and technician costs. But as we gear up for our June 25th show, we still need to fundraise so that we can pay our collaborators for their brilliant work!
Specifically, we are hoping to pay each of our 6 actors a AEA-showcase industry standard honorarium as a stipend for our rehearsal process and performance. We also want to compensate our 4 designers (sound, lights, set, costumes). Any additional funds raised will go to better compensating our team members. Please help us bring this scary, silly story to life!
